CHINA TOWN AND UNION STATION

Today it's been the last day we went somewhere with the teachers, and we've been shopping in Chinatown. There's nothing special there like monuments or things like this but we found lots of shops to buy souvenirs. We had free time to lunch at the Union Station and we went to school at 2:45 and the Americans picked us up. Everyone went to their own house and we all met at 7h at Jenny's house (Jenny is my exchange student) to have a goodbye party. We ate pizza, made a fire, danced around the fire, and Jenny's dad threw fire works! That was really a surprise. It's been a really cool day. We're all glad because of the good times we had. And we all were at our own house at 10, because we have to prepare our suitcase and get ready for tomorrow!

BALTIMORE

There are only two days left until we leave and we have to take advantage of the time we are going to stay here. Today all the American students came with us and we went to the Aquarium of Baltimore, we had a great time and we like all the water animals that we saw. We also saw a 4D film which was so funny!!! Then all of us had lunch in a pasta restaurant. When we arrived at school, Gaby, Mònica, Ainhoa and I went to the Mall and we bought clothes and shoes. I am enjoying a lot this trip and I like America!

MONUMENTS IN D.C.

Today we went to Washington DC. We had already been there last week, but today we visited the most famous monuments. We walked along the streets of Washington until we arrived at the first monument, the Washington Monument. There we took some original photos. I think it's such an authentic monument! Then we walked to the National World War ll Memorial, which I think that has shocked me so much. Later, we went to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, which shocked me, too. Then, we had lunch together and we bought some souvenirs. Finally, we walked to the White House, where we also took some photos. After that, we took the metro and we arrived at Good Counsel. Everyone went with each exchange student. I went with Jennifer and her father; we went home by car. After a long day, we took a rest and we relaxed. Then, we had dinner. I ate a bacon and cheese omelet. After dinner, I went to the mall and I bought some stuff. Today has been a good day and the weather was nice, too!

SUNDAY WITH HOST FAMILIES

USA is such an another world. And we love it; we don't want to go back to Barcelona. We met great people. In my opinion, the weekend has been weird -this is a word that I learnt here- because each of exchange students went to different places. In my case, today morning, Meredith -my American friend- had a game so I went with her. They lost but they did a good job. For lunch I ate typical American food: a baggle. It's like a donnut bread with bacon, cheese and egg inside. I like it, so tasty! In the afternoon, Jennifer's mom -the exchange of Laia- picked me up and we went to a mall. Laia wanted an American flag and we found it! We have taken advantage of the prices in the stores and we have bought some clothes that are too expensive in Barcelona. We bought something for our families, too. I have spent a funny afternoon with Laia and I've come back home where Meredith had been doing her homework. Nice day! I'm excited because I know that a lot of awsome things will happen in the next week!
