A busy Wednesday

Today we have had a wonderful and a bit stressed day. 
At first, we caught a school bus in Good Counsel and we went to Glenmont. Then we took the metro to Pentagon City Metro Station. We were impressed because we couldn’t eat or drink there! In USA the laws are very strict. We visited Pentagon City mall which is a big shopping center with a variety of stores: souvenirs, clothes, food, etc. like La Maquinista of Barcelona, Spain. We didn’t have too much time. However we had enough time to buy a lot of things! We also had lunch there which was very tasty, we liked it.

After that, we took the subway again and we went to Union Station. We could see that it is one of the most important and beautiful places of Washington D.C. There were a lot of shops, but there weren’t any restaurants. We were able to buy some t-shirts and pullovers.
At 1:45 am we took the metro and we came back to Glenmont where there was the school bus waiting for us. We arrived at school at 2.30 pm and everybody started to do their extracurricular activities: some of them play soccer, lacrosse, football…, others perform at the theatre or play an instrument. It is incredible how many activities Good Counsel offers. It’s amazing!
At Good Counsel everybody is friendly and cheerful, so we are very happy with them. We hope that when they come to Barcelona, they will have the same feeling as we have. Tomorrow we are going to the DC monuments and the Smithsonian Museums, so it will be very interesting.
